The targeted portfolio is worth up to $2 billion, ATSH (the Albanian Telegraphic Agency) reports, citing Kosovapress.
Strategic Group works in business development, investment facilitation and partnerships between the Western Balkans and the Middle East. Ocean B Holding presents itself as an international investment and project development company with a portfolio of several billion dollars in the Middle East and Africa.
Mandate and sectors
According to the announcement, the Qatari holding has formally authorized Strategic Group to represent its investment interests in Kosovo, Albania, Montenegro, North Macedonia and other Southeast European markets. The company may identify opportunities, engage with governments and the private sector, organize high-level meetings and facilitate negotiations. The sectors mentioned are energy, oil and gas, mining, electricity generation, health care and large-scale infrastructure.
Strategic Group's owner, Arianit Shehu, said the mission “is about people” and that investment is measured by the jobs created, the families who benefit and the businesses that grow, not only by the size of the transaction. In his view, Kosovo and Albania have extraordinary potential.
