The Court of Appeal building in Tirana was attacked on Monday by a group of protesters, on the seventh day of anti-government protests.

The damage affected the public entrance, the metal barriers, the notice board and the guard post.
Police intervened a few minutes later with tear gas and detained several people, whose number was not disclosed. According to reports, one police officer was injured.
The attack came two days after the Supreme Court building was also hit during the clashes of Oct. 17, when part of the ground floor was engulfed in flames.
