Tickets for Kosovo vs. Israel, to be played on Nov. 14 at the “Fadil Vokrri” stadium in Pristina, sold out almost entirely in less than 12 hours after the Football Federation of Kosovo (FFK) put them on sale, TopSporti reports. Only a few tickets for the West stand at 50 euros and VIP seats at 150 euros remain at the online box office.
Interest remains high even after ticket prices for Kosovo's games at “Fadil Vokrri” were raised in September. The match against Israel is the Dardanians' last home game this year in Nations League B.
Group 3 still wide open
After four rounds, Austria lead with 8 points, while Kosovo and Ireland have 5 each and Israel 2. Kosovo beat Ireland 1-0, drew 0-0 in Israel and 1-1 with Austria at home, after a 3-1 loss in Vienna. On Nov. 17 they close the group in Ireland. The group winner moves up to League A, the runner-up plays a playoff for League A, third place plays a playout to stay in League B, and the last-placed team drops to League C.
Hajdari out until January
Kosovo will be without center back Albian Hajdari for the two decisive games. According to TopSporti, the news came from his club, Hoffenheim, and from FFK President Agim Ademi, who confirmed that the player had surgery on his left knee and on the sole of his right foot. He injured the knee with Kosovo in the late September and early October matches, and the foot in training with Hoffenheim. He is expected to return in January.
