- Vora beat Vllaznia 2-1, with the Shkodra side scoring only in the 89th minute from the penalty spot.

Round 9 of the Abissnet Superiore, Albania's top league, began Wednesday with three matches and a dramatic comeback at Elbasan Arena. Partizani went ahead in the 16th minute through Joviçiç and held the lead until late in the game, but Elbasani responded in the second half and turned the result around in the final eight minutes.
Mazari and Nikaj give Daja his first win
Mazari equalized in the 82nd minute, and six minutes later Nikaj scored the 2-1 winner. It was Elbasani's first victory under new coach Glen Daja, who was appointed to lead the club last week. For Partizani, the defeat came in a match they appeared to be managing with their lead.
Vora win, Vllaznia wake up late
In the midday match, Vora beat Vllaznia 2-1. Kashari put the home side ahead in the 16th minute and Daka doubled the lead in the 85th. Vllaznia pulled one back only in the 89th minute with a penalty converted by Balaj, but had no time to equalize. It was a difficult week for the Shkodra club, which a day earlier had been fined 50,000 lek by the Albanian Football Federation (FSHF).
In Korça, Skënderbeu and Laçi drew 1-1. Lagonidis scored for the Korça side in the 27th minute, while Traore equalized for Laçi in the 64th.
Round 9 concludes Thursday with two matches: the Tirana–Dinamo City derby kicks off at 13:30, while Egnatia host Teuta at 18:30.
